Hi JA
The best advice I can give you is to change your diet/lifestyle.
Lower your intake of wheat/dairy/refined sugars
Eat more vegetables, fruit and seeds.
Take supplements such as Vitamin E, Primrose Oil, Zinc etc.
Drink more water
Get plenty of sunshine (Vitamin D is good for acne)
Reduce any kind of stress in your life
Try breathing excerices/meditation
Exercise regularly
I have not found a single acne treatment that worked on it’s own. Acne is just the symptom, to heal it you need to take a look at your entire lifestyle. Hope this was of some help

What you are seeing is the rebound effect.
Your body starts a new treatment and initially it will work but after a while your body gets used to it and ‘rebounds’ back to worse than its original state.
By getting rid of red marks, it depends if you are talking about acne inflammation or scars left by previous acne pimples.
If you are trying to reduce acne inflammation, you might want to explore foods that cure acne as these are all geared towards reducing inflammation of the skin. You can find a lot of information on this subject here: http://www.acneisdead.com/best_acne_treatment/food-that-cure-acne.php
If you are talking about reducing acne scars then I would recommend trying both Vitamin C for acne marks and reading up on the methods illustrated here for acne scars.
