Acne cure through Oracea?

Question: Acne cure through Oracea?
Last week I saw a dermatologist for a moderate acne problem on my back and shoulders. I’ve had acne there for about 5 years and tried ProActive and all kinds of benzoyl peroxide and salicytic acids but nothing has worked so far (except by bleaching my clothes!). Anyway, I’ve recently read that Oracea is primarily used to treat rosacea. Is it going to help reduce/eliminate my acne? How long should it take to work? It’s only been five days, so I obviously don’t anticipate results yet, but I’m just curious as to how long I should anticipate to move to see them!

Dan, ProActiv has worked on my face for about five years now, so I don’t really find it to be a scam at all!

PROACTIV IS A SCAM AND DOESNT WORK.

Nothing works superior than accutane. It shuts off your sebaceous glands.

Proactiv is a scam and so is any other prescription such as retina micro, doxycycline, etc. These are all scams. I’ve tried them all!

Go see your dermatologist and pick up Accutane. I was on it for 8 months and never get pimples on my face anymore (which is what really matters). You can also ask for isotretinoin cream .25% (.50 is a bit too strong).

THIS WILL MAKE YOUR ACNE GO AWAY FAST. Thank me later.

Regarding Oracea it is just doxycycline with a different name! While it might work for Rosacea (I wouldn’t know) it absolutely does not work for acne (at least in my case). I have taken this stuff before.
