Acne Scarring help?!?
August 12th, 2011Question: Acne Scarring help?!?
I had this kind of acne that injured like crazy, was rather massive and was red, but had no white center core that shows up. I left it alone hoping it would naturally go away. It did, however it left my skin darkened and what remained of the acne was this small lump underneath. You could feel it, but it doesn’t injured or anything. How do remove it and how can i repair my skin back to its natural skin color?

I had this when i was younger and well those lumps are still there , they are called keloid scars and will be with you for the rest of your life ……………………. unless you have surgery to remove them .
May i recommend brewers yeast tablets to control further out breaks of zits

a small lump? Are you saying you have indents in your skin from this? like ice pick scars? Or are you saying your skin is simply pigemented and a different color from the acne? If it’s indents in the skin, I believe their are procedures that can be done but their is nothing you can really do about it that I know of. As far as the pigementation I can tell you about a few things. First off some people might think this is crazy but try lemon juice! Oh it worked so well for me and helped my scars soooo much! But you have to make sure you apply is on the affected area and leave it on for only ten minutes, then make sure you take it off. Never leave it on! Your skin will dry out like crazy and only do this at night. There also is an acne mark fading peel from neutrogena that I used to like a lot but it may have been discontinued. They also carry a microdermabrasion kit that should help your scars as well. And always remember to exfoliate 2-3 times a week! This will help remove the dead skin cells. Also always wear spf because picking at your acne and revealing the baby skin, and then going out in the sun without spf allowing this baby skin to hyperpigment (change color) is often times what causes the scar so sun protection is very important! hope I helped.
Go to a dermatologist! Please see a real doctor. They can help you prevent further breakouts in the future. Everyone has some crazy remedy on her but if your acne is scarring please see a doctor.
i recommend exfoliating. it helps to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, leave skin softer, makes pores appear smaller and most importantly, it breaks up scar tissue, which can help your scar to fade and look less obvious.
This sounds like possible cystic acne, under the skin and leave scaring. I am an aesthetician see this alot and did have at one point years ago. It would be best to see a Derm. but if you want to do some home treatment you can, for the dark spots natural acids are great, lemon juice, take a slice of lemon and gently rub the area. Do for about 15 seconds to 30 seconds. not too long, its acid so you can get your skin too sensitive. Repeat this one a day. You’ll see the dark spot fade away.
