At-Home Microdermabrasion or Chemical Peel?
October 8th, 2011Question: At-Home Microdermabrasion or Chemical Peel?
Hi!
So I’m 18 years old, have massive pores, bad skin texture, oily skin, and light/medium acne. I’ve been wanting to try an at-home facial such as a microdermabrasion or chemical peel kit. However, I notice that most people using these are older and thus, don’t have to worry about breaking out so much. I have sensitive skin: I don’t dry easily, but I break out from a lot of fragranced products and whatnot.
I’d like to find a kit that will help minimize pores and acne scarring. Any help?

Hmm…microdermabrasion and chemical peels are best done by dermatologists, IMHO. Maybe try a clarisonic to give yourself an unhearable cleansing each morning. It’ll help with the acne – but it won’t get rid of any scars if you have them.
