Back Acne Cure – How To Treat Pimples On Your Back

When you think of acne, it is normal to presume that acne occurs just on one’s face. This is not true at all because there is also that condition known as back acne. People are also looking at acne back cure more seriously now. Commonly known as bacne to a lot of people, you would still see the usual zits and pimples for this condition. The one main thing to take note here is that bacne can actually be more severe than facial acne, or even chest acne.

The reason behind this is actually very understandable. For one thing, your back has a larger skin surface, especially when you compare it to the face. This means, your back would then have more little pores all over it. With more pores all over, the tendency for these pores to become clogged with oil released by sebaceous glands becomes higher. The mixture of more sebum oil and more dead skin cells just leads to more bacne.

Interestingly, there are actually a number of things that you can do to prevent your condition of bacne from worsening. First off, you should stay away from using tank tops or shirts that are tight, especially when working out. These shirts cling to your body, your back in particular, and when you are working out, you will naturally be sweating. There will then be more sebum oil produced by your sebaceous glands, and with tight apparel, there is no other landing pad for your sebum oil other than your back. Airflow is also constricted with tight shirts, and this does not help at all. It would be superior to wear loose clothes when working out. Also, make sure to shower when you are done working out. This way, your bacne will not worsen in any way.

Another thing that you should stay away from is the usage of backpacks. This should be especially avoided when heavy objects are being carried. The mere act of travel has your backup bouncing up and down your back. This, in turn, irritates your skin, worsening your bacne in the process. What you should use instead is the regular handbag.

The consumption of certain medication can also worsen bacne. For instance, many people who are under steroid medication report that the more serious side effects of these drugs include bacne. If such is your case, then you should consult your doctor right away. There might be a need to stay off the steroids and look for substitute medication.

Topical treatment is the best acne back cure. But with the many topical products in the market right now, it would be superior to consult your dermatologist before you begin using one first.

Acne back cure can be easy and fuss free, if you take the necessary steps and precautions.

October 15, 2009. The skin creates a barrier between the body and the environment. Using animal models, Dr. Julie Segre’s laboratory focuses on the genetic pathways involved in building and repairing this skin barrier. The Segre laboratory estimates that approximately one million bacteria reside on apiece square centimeter of skin and many common skin conditions are associated with both impaired skin barrier function and increased microbial colonization. Dr. Segre moderated the discussion, answered questions and addressed comments. In addition, the webinar discussed details of the Human Microbiome Project. More: www.genome.gov
