I don’t have horrible acne but mine started acting up after my pregnancy. I used a mixture of Honey and cinnamon as a facial mud and wear it over night. I used it for 1 week and I noticed less irratation and redness and bumps under my skin. I’ve also heard tea tree oil is good to use for the skin!

why dont u use aveno
that works for me
i use clearasil too
the morning burst works with hot hot water
i havent had any spots since i used them
but if your irritated, you should use non fragrance,
I completely understand your situation. I am on a medication that causes breakouts as a side effect and for a long time i was getting them. I’d never had ance issues before that. Nothing worked and my skin is sensitive. Finally i tried proactive and it worked for me but if it didn’t work for you there are other good ones on the market.
Have you ever tried Spectro Gel..? I tried that and it worked ok.. But a lot of people swear by it and it’s not expensive. its very good for sensitive skin, it’s gentle and oil free and non-drying.
There is another good product out there now.. Vichy puts out a product in green bottles called Normaderm. It has a very high success rate. But it’s not fragrance free..
Biotherm also puts out a great line of detoxifying systems of cleansers, toners and lotion.
for sensitive skin, La Roche-Posay has a wonderful reputation. I think it started out as a prescription cleanser for stubborn acne and they have since (at least in Canada) released it for sale as a beauty product instead of a pharmaceutical.
These are all more expensive brands but personally I found the more I paid the better the results. I don’t know if that’s the general rule but it’s what I’ve noticed.
Accutane caused severe depression in my friend but it worked for her acne. I tried an antibiotic. I can’t recall the name right now.. But it worked very well.. until i stopped taking it.
Best of luck. It can be frustrating, I know.
Hi. I do have the same problem. But sometimes overwashing your face with facial soaps even does more harm to your face. You may want to try these regimen.
*no meat diet, as much as possible, try the veggie and fruit diet and load tons of water. even if we put so many antibiotics on our skin, what we take internally are the ones that matter most and affecting the outer part (i.e skin and odor)
*and wash your face with warm milk in the morning. tone and mosturize. if you went out in the morning, wash your face with a mild cleanser (i.e cetaphil) at night. again tone and mosturize.
*sometimes, if i have breakouts, i make a milk paste (milk powder and little water), rub it on my face (just like an exfoliator) and leave it overnight. then wash with warm water in the morning. I have read that lactic acid from milk aids in the normal peeling of the skin thus allow new skin to grow
Hope these would help. Goodluck!
You were asking if the scars and spots fade…… they did for me. I was on acutane and had horrible acne. It got rid of it and you can hardly see the scars that I had before. I hate to say it but birth control made my acne better. Just some info. Good Luck to you. Hope it clears up.
Another option is All Clear from BeautiControl. I’ve heard many stories from people that tried everything from the derm. to proactiv and found that All Clear did the trick for them. They have a money back guarantee. And yes the marks do fade in time. I don’t have terrible acne myself. But I get a mark or two every month.
Hi,
it’s important to inform yourself first before buying any wrong solution. Products like e.g. accutane or proactiv (and those pills doctors prescribe) are aggressive and can cause damages to you and your skin since they contain harmful ingredients.

This is one of the very few products out there which really treats the acne problem at its roots from inside and out, no matter which kind of acne you have. Without damaging your skin, all natural and endorsed by doctors and herbalists.
I’ve literally wasted hundreds on other “miracles” but this one is highly efficient and that’s what only counts for me. It should also help you get rid of your acne in a breeze.
Hope that helps.
All the best,
Melinda
ok I heard from my cousin that if u wash ur face in the morning and in the night with a neutro soap ( I think thas wat its called) and then u boil plain oatmeal with a little water and put it on ur face until the oatmeal dries and then wash it off with warm water patdry it and it starts working like in 2 days the pimples start drying and your face feel way softer… besides it’s cheap and natural
My sis used it too it did miracles for her
You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don’t pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you’re waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you’re rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That’s what I’m doing. God Bless.
