Hello. Can you catch Hiv from a non sexual massage. I went into a evenhandedly nice spa and had a half hour massage. I noticed the lady (who was very nice) was using a jar of cream.. not a pump bottle. I have had anxiety issues in the past and i noticed what seemed to be an unsanitary practice. I should have stated something. What if the mortal who went in before me was hiv positive (i know that is a stretch, but just state he she was) if they had a scab or anything like that and the lady place her hand in the lotion and blood got into it (even a small amount), would that be ready to transmit the hiv to me. I work out and do have some acne on my back that was burning just a little from the lotion. I know this sounds crazy. But it seems to make sense the more I think of it. I get tested each other checkup at my physician just to be careful, even though i always use protection. Is the zero chance I could have caught it this way? Am I building this up? Thank you Also, are there any stories out there of people catching hiv from spa like settings? The mortal who went before me left only a few minutes (5 to 10) I know hiv will die in the air, but what about trapped in an airtight jar, I know there might be no definitive answer but what do you think the chances are I caught hiv? any help? thank you all so much for the time

You can’t get HIV through non-sexual massage, spas, little amounts of blood, acne, etc. You get HIV by having sex with or sharing needles with someone who’s HIV positive.

Its not likely at all that you’d get hiv from that due to you didnt put the cream in your mouth or on your genitals. You have nothing to worry about.
