Create Your Own version of Facial Exercises

There are many different variations of doing facial exercises and most of them might work in helping you eliminate wrinkles. But this does not mean that you can begin inventing your own exercises without knowing the basic thing about how these exercises carry out their effects.

One of the more common exercises done to eliminate wrinkles near the eyes and on the forehead is by pulling down on the skin under your eyes, and raising your eyebrows as high as you can. This will help those who have a lot of frown lines on their forehead.

Thin lips, sagging cheeks and laugh lines are also a common problem. You can perform exercises such as pulling down on your cheeks while smiling as hard as you can, or alternately puckering your lips and smiling to help get rid of these problems.

These exercises work by stretching your muscles to their maximum capacity in the not so normal ways. This is similar to making them lift weights so that they would increase their tone. Once this happens, they can exert a stronger pull on your skin thus reducing the depth of existing wrinkles and preventing more from forming.

In addition to just increasing the tone of your muscles, your skin needs to be stretched in such a way that it does not promote the formation of wrinkles. If you pull on your skin the normal way it folds, this will just promote the formation of more wrinkles. You need to pull on it in the opposite direction so that the chances of wrinkles forming will be reduced.

Once you have mastered these basic things that you need to know about facial exercises, you can begin trying your own variations of the exercises. This will help in keeping you motivated to continue doing the exercises. You won’t be bored with doing the same exercises apiece day anymore.

By alternately doing the suggested and your own exercises, you might be more motivated to continue doing the exercises as opposed to doing the same exact thing everyday. You might also instruct a friend of yours how you do the exercises so that the both of you can do the exercises at the same time.

A lot of people give up on doing facial exercises easily due to the time it takes for it to produce results. You must try and keep yourself motivated by doing variations of the exercises, and try to get someone to perform the exercises with you. This way, you can motivate apiece other to continue performing the exercises until you begin seeing results.
