July 10th, 2009Question: Does anyone have any at home remedies for acne that work? I purchased this cream calledd Bioskincare. Do any of you know if it works? I need your advice on acne. I’ve had problems with “adult acne” before.
I’m 50, and fortunately haven’t had any sort
of serious problems for the past decade.
My secret? Ah, gee. If I told you that… then
it wouldn’t be a secret anymore! Oh, well…
actually, it was never a secret to begin with.
All right: NEUTROGENA scrub-lotions. I
use Morning Blast when I take a shower,
every morning, and Daily Scrub in the eves.
The thing is that creams do not tend to do
much else for your skin besides leave a
thin layer of residue that isn’t all that easy
to wash off; just rinsing with hot water will
not cut it–because it literally seeps into
your pores.
The best acne treatments are lotions that
contain “granules” of medicine, because
they will let your pores open-up, so they
can breathe.
(Creams, by contrast, can actually clog-up
your pores–and that will result, most likely,
in blackheads.)
