Does this home acne remedy sound sketchy to you?
February 18th, 2009Question: Does this home acne cure sound sketchy to you?
Alright, I was looking up home remedies for acne and I found this on a long list of home remedies that were apparently ‘proven’ to work. I thought it was sketchy myself but then I noticed that a lot of remedies on the list do actually work. I know this based on my own experience. But anyway, I was looking them up because my high school is having some sort of formal dance, nearly like prom. Why? I don’t know. But I have a date and we’ve been friends for a long time and he asked me to go with him, I feel we’re more than friends. But that’s all besides the point. Does this sound sketchy to you:
“Take 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make a paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.”
Now, I don’t actually believe the ‘forever’ part but I still believe that this cure might temporarily take care of my acne. I only have it on my forehead. What do you think?

sounds more like something you would put on toast.
all honey does is heal your skin faster, just like aloe vera.
what WILL work is crushing aspirin and mixing it with aloe gel.
aspirin is just salicylic acid so its just like something you’d buy at a store, except you can only use it once a week because your skin will dry out and will become resistant to it
