Fitness Circuit Training For Healthy Weight Loss
July 27th, 2010Fitness circuit training is a series of exercise stations that you train through , with short rest periods between apiece station . The number of exercises or stations might range from four to ten.
Originally , circuit training programs were highly-developed to increase muscular endurance and included exercises to help enhance muscular endurance such as pushups, situps, leg press and the bench press.
A circuit would consist of 4 to 10 stations with a low impact aerobic warm-up and cooldown exercise (a stationary bicycle can be used ). You can set up the exercise stations using free weights and/or weight machines that train one muscle at a time .
An example of circuit training exercises using your environment is par course exercise training. This style intersperses travel or jogging with various strength, flexibility and muscular endurance exercises.
Aerobic circuit training is especially very favourite with the betterment in the overall health for women. Four to ten aerobic exercise stations are used with 1 to 5 minutes per station with a fifteen to thirty second rest between exercises , this is counted as one circuit. The different stations will be set up with stationary cycling, elliptical rider, treadmill, step climbing on a stair master at a moderate pace and the use of a rowing machine.
It will depend on the number of stations that are set-up but the number of circuits finished normally adds up to 20 to 60 minutes of aerobic exercise.
One affair to remember that will help you to be successful is to not train to failure at apiece station. What I mean by this is when the appointed time is coming to an end for that station, you should be ready to complete the designated time with out having tired yourself.
You should be training some where between fifty percent and seventy percent of your operative capabilities
When training in circuit training you will notice an improved muscular and aerobic endurance, increase in strength and last but not least healthy weight loss.
