zitdr_02 is right, although benzoyl peroxide and adapalene can work well to get rid of acne. For more info on Epiduo see the manufacturer’s website: http://www.epiduo.com/

Here are the Top 4 Tips For Early Acne Scars Treatment.
Written by Laura Wood on 20 January 2010
If you have new acne scars that have recently formed from your last active acne, there are many prevention ways that you can exercise to prevent them from looking worse. In some cases, these acne scars are not permanent and there is a high chance that they will eventually fade completely.
The changes in the skin tone, usually darker is common as part of the skin’s natural healing process. This is known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation acne scars. This is a type of acne scars that is flat and there is no damage to the skin tissue. The more you do to help faciliate this healing process, the better the appearance of the acne scars and skin will become.
Protect With Sunscreen All The Time
Always protect the new acne scars and even your entire face with good sunscreen. Even if it is just a 10-minute walk to the local store, do not skip this very important step. You might be able to save the temporary acne scars from becoming permanent. The more the acnes scars are exposed to the sun, the longer it takes for the healing process to complete. Sun exposure does not only delay the process but it damages your skin overall.
Apply Tretinoin
Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A used in the treatment of mild to moderate acne, fine lines, hyperpigmentation sun damaged skin. Some common brand names for tretinoin are Retin-A, Atralin, Renova, Avita, Altinac. Continuous use of tretinoin speeds up the skin’s remodelling and prevents post-inflammatory changes from becoming worse.
Use Moisturisers With AHA and BHA
With the correct concentrations, moisturisers that contain Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) also help the skin’s remodeling process. With the use of products that contains AHA, you will feel that you skin is slightly more sensitive to the sun and may cause redness. Therefore it is highly recommended that you apply sunscreen with at least 15 SPFon top of the moisturiser. You should also wait for at least 15 minutes before applying sunscreen to prevent neutralising the acid.
No Picking at Scabs!
This may seem like the the easiest thing to do yet, in reality it is the hardest thing to remember. Most people have the tendecy to touch their face without realising and when your skin gets itchy, it is natural response that you scratch and pick on your skin. Picking at scabs should be avoided at all costs. Scabs form to protect the healing process that is going on underneath them. If you pull off the scars before the healing and remodelling process is completed, the post-inflammatory changes will be visible and maybe permanent. Visit our site today to learn more!
