May 14th, 2011 Question: Rededies home ….? Hello? need help. I live in a place where it was very cold, or at this time. The skin on my face est? cracked, dry and flaky. ? There is a home cure or two that I can? To help?? Adem? S, I have oily skin around my forehead, chin and nose. So, to sum it all up, if there are home remedies f? I’d get a moisturizer for acne prone skin. Neurtogena makes a great line. Otherwise any other home remedies might dry out your skin (like oatmeal) or cause your pores to clog more (like with mayo or olive oil).
You can also try not washing your face as much and letting the natural oils in your face come through.
Also sheild your face from the cold, dry air with a scarf.
my son has been using pine tar soap for a over two months now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks. His skin is 100 percent clearer now
