How can I be sure that my acne is acne and not blisters caused by virus?
September 3rd, 2010Question: How can I be sure that my acne is acne and not blisters caused by virus?
I’m asking this becuase I am 22 years old and have not outgrown my acne–it is in the f orm of massive blister-like pimples that injured and are infected (i always have to go back on antibiotics) and they have all that good stuff you know about that goes with acne–puss, breaking, etc…
Anyway, i’ve been to the physician several times over my 10 years of acne-suffering, but i’ve never been in the office when it was at its worst, so what if the large pimples are just cold sores that i’ve had all this time and i just didn’t know because I just thought they were acne?
long question short, who can tell me the difinitive difference, since I haven’t had cold sores before and wouldn’t know?

You should go for a skin cleansing it should take care of the problem
thats gross
cold sores are open wounds, they are really not like acne…
you can have acne at any age..
check your diet,
Visit a dermatologist. It is a close line. Usually cold sores are painful while acne can have no pain.
Could be chronic cold sores (a real thing that lasts for a long time) but most likely is acne.
cold sores usually hurt & tingle, zits are just sensitive.
Go to a specialist-i.e. a dermotologist when you are experiencing these symptoms. If they change with time, try to figure out which time of the month they are worse or what touching your face may be causing them.
is this like all over your face or just around your mouth you are not very specific and antibiotics won’t do anything for a virus it has to be bacteria causing the infections
