Question: How can I cover up my back acne for homecoming?
My dress is strapless and I have major acne on my back. What can I do to cover it up?

Go to some place like ulta who does facials and get a treatment for your back. They do do that it’s just a bit more. It will get rid of your back acne. But you need to go well enough in advance to treat it. A few days before won’t do it.

It is going to be hard to cover up acne on the back all of sudden. Hopefully you don’t have homecoming for a couple of weeks. That’s how long it will take to get any results from an acne cleansing body wash like Proactiv. Also, do your best to be sure you are not scratching your back with your hands, that spreads the bacteria and creates more acne.
If all else fails, you can use concealer…but most concealers and foundations will only mask the acne and it may still look cakey. If you do use a concealer, choose a concealer that is the right tone to reduce the color red and make sure it matches with your skin tone. Some people have a yellow undertone, others a pink undertone, others – an olive undertone. Depending upon your skins undertone will determine what foundation color to choose.
Lastly, I would just wear a dress that does not conceal your back. There are plenty of beautiful dresses out there! Shop around, you are sure to find a pretty dress that will not be strapless and yet still conceals the acne.
