I am 14 years old, have no money and my parents are cheapskates. Is there anyway for me to get rid of my acne using simple, at home things? I have some facial scrubs and facial masks that i used for a couple of months and my skin didn’t improve. Does anyone have any suggestions? One of my friends stated like a banana mask or something, i haven’t tried it but if anyone has any thing that will help my face clear of acne please answer! Thank you!
If you know anyway to get rid of acne skars PLEASE tell me!

toothpaste over night. squirt a dap of it on the acnea spot and it should look better in the morning
i get mild acne but it still bugs me, i wash my face right when i wake up and right before i go to bed and i don’t put any moisturizer on my face at night (it will just get a little oily during the night anyways.) and when i have a zit i just put a dot of a clay mask on it overnight. when i dont have a clay mask i use toothpaste, it dries out the zits, they usually go WAY down in the morning. i also use Suave’s Vitamin E lotion because its not oily like other lotions and it feels good. =)
i’ve always had bad skin, still do, and i’ve tried all types of skin cleansers.
i had to find just the right combination of different cleansers for my skin – i like a type of noxema (equate or off brands can be cheaper) to wash my face with – strong smell but you could always use a nice smelling wash afterward.
two things keep my face really clean tho – one, my mom got me this really rough scrub mit, it’s like a washcloth that’s a little scratchy and slides over your hand. the roughness cleans my skin better than just a washcloth or one of those soft puff balls.
second, i buy some sort of benzoyl peroxide acne treatment. usually $4-5 for a 1oz tube which should last a month or so easily. i put a little on the spots, and all over my face, because it dries it out and clears up spots fast. i like when the cream is thicker, the thinner gel stuff doesn’t work quite as well, but you can never tell until you try the brand.
then the only problem is my skin can get a little dry in spots, so i use a garnier moisture cream. that thing was more expensive, but it’s lasted many months now. it has vitamin e (retinol) which is sposed to be very good for the skin.
that should be enough… a bottle of clean and clear blackhead cleaning astringent can be handy as well, something with salicylic acid, just for a quick rinse over your face now and then, especially for really bad days.
especially if you have bangs, or hair in your face, tie your hair up, and use a head band. use neutrogena grapefruit facial cleaser
