Question: How much will laser resurfacing or microdermabrasion cost to get rid of acne marks on shoulder / upper back?
Hi

I have these marks on my shoulder / upper back for approx. 6-8 yrs! I am so fed up with it I think it’s time to get it removed. Can someone please tell me if laser resurfacing or microdermabrasion will help with this and also the price to have this done? Which is best? Also how many treatments do i have to take to have this done? I live in the Caribbean but i’m travelling to Florida to have this done next mth. Please advocate which is best or if you know anything that works even better.

The cost depends on what the Physician charges. I know that if you go to a spa to have microdermabrasion performed, it cost less than going into a Doctor’s office, BUT the crystals used in a Doctor’s office is much superior and effective than the crystals used in a Spa setting. Furthermore, you might need more than one microderm procedure done before you will see results. I do know much about laser resurfacing – I know that it cost way more than the microderm procedure. Do your research and do not be in a rush to get the procedure done. This is your body and skin, you don’t want to make the appearance of it look any worse than you claim it does right now.
