i need help with my skin?

Question: i need help with my skin?
i need help with my skin. i think that it’s very sensitive because if i shave my legs or underarms, the areas that i shave get red and bleed a bit (sometimes they don’t, but other times they do very bad). is there any solution to stop this and to have smooth, clear legs and underarms?

i also have acne on my face, chest, and back. it’s not the really big, red kind of acne. it’s more of the small and annoying kind of acne that will not go away no matter how many products i use. i’ve tried everything from neutrogena (rapid clear) to clean and clear (advantage). i’ve also used st. ives (apricot scrub) and acnefree (clear skin treatments – 3 steps). i also used the neutrogena wave and it worked for the first few days, but my acne always comes back. i still have all of these products but i rarely use them due to the fact that they don’t work on my skin. some of them have worked, but they dried up my skin and prefabricated my face peel and my skin got all over the place. i also have freckles and oily skin, which i hate, so my skin looks very unclean and oily. i know that many people wish they could have freckles, but they make me feel very unsightly because they blend into my acne.

is there any solutions to have smooth, clear legs and underarms after shaving? and is there any solution to get rid of my acne and oily skin? please recommend any products, home remedies, face masks, diets, foods, and/or anything else that might help control and/or even clear my acne and give me smooth, clear legs and underarms. thank you!

If it is bad, it is superior not to experiment,as it might make it worse. Your best bet is to visit a dermatologist.

For the acne, I would start off by remembering a lot of people get acne. It might just be genetic or something. And freckles are beautiful no matter what(:
I would definitely suggest to stop switching cleansers. If you keep doing that, you will never see results because you won’t give your skin a chance to get used to it. Purchase something expensive from MaryKay, Philosophy, etc. because it’s better for you. But before you buy another cleanser, consult a dermatologist and/or make-up professional as they’re used to seeing different skin types. They will give you a cleanser and moisturizer made especially to help oily, acne prone skin.

And as far as the shaving thing goes, definitely call a dermatologist to see what they have to say about that. They might ask you to come in and give you some medicine to help you, lotions, or moisturizers. It’s usually not that expensive and it’s worth it to have healthy and happy skin.

Best of luck, and I hope this helps.(:

    i just posted a similar question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuO.w9AorhThaPR5ohnm9jXsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090525152708AAIkBwr

we have sensitive skin, which really sucks. My legs and underarms get really irritated when i get done shaving as well. Ive found a few things that work. An electric razor with lots of shaving cream, the razor put out my intuition that has a thick shaving strip around it, and using nair works wonders. and moisturizing a lot afterwards helps. but you sound even more sensitive than me, so i would really suggest using nair or a cream hair remover. They dont irritate the skin as much if you leave it on for the right amount of time, and again moisturize afterwards.

as for the face acne, the only think ive found to take away actual pimples is prescription benzaclin. And ive tried almost every product out there. Benzaclin is a cream, its about 20 bucks for a months supply, but its taken away all of my acne. However, i still have the oily skin, and the redness. But the actual pimples themselves are gone. Good luck on finding stuff to take the redness away. im still on the search. i hope i helped :)
