September 25th, 2010Is There An Acne Cure? – The Truth
Do an world wide web search for “acne cure” and you will get thousands of pages from companies trying to sell you the latest cleanser, to forum sites and message boards offering free advice. One thing they all have in common is they all claim to have an acne cure. However, if you make an appointment to see a dermatologist he or she will look you in the eye and tell you that an acne cure does not exist. What they will tell you is, there might not be a cure, but with medication we can control it.
It’s understandable that people with acne that are searching for an acne cure are confused and frustrated to state the least.
The all important question for someone suffering with acne would be: Is there an acne cure? Face it people want to know the truth. The answer to that question is YES!
What is the CURE? Acne is actually caused by three things:
1. Imbalanced Hormones
2. Toxic colon/Diet Issues
3. Toxic and congested liver (cystic acne)
You will not hear any of these facts or ideas from your typical physician or dermatologists. Why is that? Think about it, when you go see a physician what usually happens? They will ask you what is the problem? When you respond to the question you are thus telling him or her, your symptoms. Once the physician knows your symptoms he will then prescribe to you some type of medication or drug to suppress the symptoms. That is just the way the system works.
What I just mentioned is not just for acne per se, but can be attributed to just about any health ailment. Am I saying you should never take prescription medications from a doctor? No. What I am saying is for the treatment of acne, drugs are not necessary.
To treat acne and to cure it is totally essential that you address the root cause of the problem. Understanding that acne is an internal problem is the first step in the right direction.
Acne is a large problem here in the United Says but if people would take the time to look into substitute solutions rather than over the counter medications or trips to the doctor, acne problems could swiftly become a thing of the past.

Go to the physician and get antibiotics. Things that you purchase from shops won’t work. I spent 7 months on Roaccutane and I had acne all over my back.

Washing regularly is one of the best ways to get rid of acne on back and on other parts of the body. Anti-bacterial soaps are better than ordinary ones and it is preferable to have a shower or a bath, twice a day. Using a sugar-based scrub while bathing helps in washing off the dirt and grim from the back. Exfoliators such as washcloths, loofas and brushes are also helpful in getting rid of dead skin cells that may worsen back acne.
Care should be taken not to over-wash, as this may cause dryness of the skin and irritation. The skin breathes when the pores on the skin are not clogged, especially by sweating. Excessive perspiration can get trapped against the skin and mix with oils, which may further clog the skin. So regular bathing keeps the skin pores clean and helps them breath.
Avoid what most people tend to do – pinch, poke or prod the blemishes to get rid of acne. Doing so would not in any way cure the acne, but instead, it will increase the risk of spreading bacteria and cause scarring.
Products (ointments) that contain benzoyl peroxide help break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria and oil which are responsible for clogging the pores of the skin and form acne blemishes. It is advisable to use the ointment after having a shower or a bath, for about ten times a day. After applying the product, give ample time for it to dry as it may damage clothing.
It is important that your clothes are clean and dry, every time you wear or use them. They may include towels, pillowcases, bedsheets, shirts, tops, inner wear and any kind of clothing that may touch the back. Dirty and sweaty clothes invite bacteria which may further exacerbate the acne. Also ensure that the detergents that are used for your clothes are hypoallergenic.
Other measures that you can employ to get rid of acne on your back include applying sunscreen, if you wear clothes that may expose the back, using clay masks to remove dirt through deep cleansing and allowing the back to dry off completely before wearing clothes, after a shower or a bath. Prescribed antibiotics, topical retinoids and cortisone are also beneficial in bacne treatment. Try and stay away from hot and humid surroundings and even if you cannot avoid this, ensure that you wash yourself regularly. It is also advisable to stay away from cooking as the grease from the cooking may clog the pores and worsen the problem.
