Natural or Substitute Treatment for Acne

Did you know that benzoyl peroxide ingredient helps break up the plug of the dead skin? A number of over-the-counter products contain benzoyl peroxide ingredient which helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil in pores and cuts down on the bacteria as well. It is better, if you have sensitive skin to begin with the lowest concentration, and work your way up. Why is this so? Because a product with higher concentration of benzoyl peroxide can irritate a sensitive skin. Any over-the-counter acne-treatment related products must be used once or twice a day. If the product consequently has dried your skin, then it is superior to apply a mild moisturizer. How should you apply over-the-counter products for treatment or prevention? Bear in mind, that you should not just spot the product in your existing acne. Rather, you have to place it on acne-prone areas that might include your entire face (avoiding the lips and eyes, however), back and chest. You need to be careful in the over-the-counter product which you are immediately applying on your acne-infected body parts because your skin type might not be suitable to the treatment. It is still advisable to seek for your dermatologists guidance on choosing the right medication.

Did you know of some natural home remedies for acne? You need not shell out thousands of penny in order to avail a pricey treatment because even at home you can use different accessible remedies. You might blot on your acne infected body areas a non-gel toothpaste or lemon juice to zits that have been dried out. A easy washing of face using a soft touch can do good to your sensitive facial skin rather than rubbing or scrubbing it, which causes irritation. Try to create a paste that is a mixture of three tablespoons of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon. You might apply the paste on your acne infected body areas for two weeks during bedtime. Then, you can wash off the paste on your face immediately when you wake up. Gently rubbing ice to swollen and inflamed acne is a helpful remedy. You might also apply coconut oil on your acne prone body areas. When you are treating your acne through natural, alternative, or artificial means, always stay out of the sun. Also watch your diet. Shifting to a healthy well- equilibrium diet can do a great deal of improvement to your skin.

Did you know of naturopathy treatment for acne? Out in the market are numerous wonder creams that promise effective and only the best ever treatment. However, there are those creams which are just endorsed and created by people of all walks of life without the expert medical knowledge and might be having harsh chemical content. Watch out for the ingredients used in the cream you are using because that might even cause worse breakage, greatly irreversible skin ruin and permanent lesions and skin marks. You can however, use natural herbal treatments on your acne prone body areas. Using any natural therapy guarantees no undesirable aftermath on the skin. If you could drink 3 liters of water a day and include in your regularly diet fiber-rich food, fruit and vegetables, then you would likely get glowing, healthy and acne-free or diseased-free skin or reduced sebaceous glands production of oil. Water therapy works a huge wonder in your body mechanism that generates balanced oil content in your body. During summer season, or hot days, you can give yourself the special treat of cool drinks, to ice cream parlor, and of fruity salad among the other potential treats. Naturally, submit yourself to natural therapy.

Did you know of the generally used antibiotic for acne? Acne patients are familiar of any of the following antibiotics: Tetracycline, Erythromycin, minocycline, Doxycycline, and Clindamycin. The most widely used is Tetracycline. A patient with acne, if s/he has chosen to take Tetracycline has to begin a 500mg-twice-a-day medication. The treatment is only stopped when there is a notable reduction in the acne lesions. The patient has the option to either discontinue the dose or lower it to 250mg, twice a day. If your goal is to get the most effective result from using the antibiotics, take note of the downside: you stomach must be empty when you take the antibiotics. Antibiotics as the treatment are quite impossible for a growing boy who eats a lot and frequently. If the patient is either a woman who is pregnant or a child under nine years of age, antibiotics can't be prescribed. Reduce the redness in your lesions through the inflammatory properties of Erythromycin. This medicine can be used in pregnant women and be taken with food. Take Minocycline which has been proven effective and useful for pustular acne for decades. Yet, for patients who hardly can respond to erythromycin, another antibiotic is highly suggested to them which is Doxycycline. This must be taken with food in order not to experience nausea. A useful oral antibiotic that treats acne is clindamycin which major side effect however is pseudomembranous colitis, a severe intestinal infection.

Did you know that cleanliness is one of the best ways in combating acne? It has been a common knowledge that the accumulation of bacteria on the outside layer of the dermis or skin can promote acne. Anyone who is exposed to excessive bacteria can develop skin rashes or worse health condition. Should you completely keep yourself from dust particles? Not really! But if you could sanitize your room and stay away from dusty areas, you could achieve a skin that is acne-free. The surrounding tissues at the hair follicle are inflamed when the open pore is clogged with a mixture of dust, dirt and forms of bacteria. Avoid having your inflamed facial skin areas be irritated by your hair. If possible, brush your strands of hair away from your face and tie your hair often or have it cut short. If men do shave their beards they must use hot water and soap in order to open the pores and sanitize them. Washing through a medicated soap with warm water first and rinsing off with cold water, can help you achieve good skin type. Theres nothing superior than careful maintenance of and watchful response to your skins needs.

As far as facial wash, you can pretty much use anything. But topical creams. On my list,I can only use,Benzoyl Peroxide(Clearasil) or Salicylic acid products.

Neutrogena Acne Wash has been wonderful for me. They make one for your face and one for your body, and they both cleared me right up. They have saliyic (sp?) acid in them, which people say you shouldn’t use in pregnancy, however, my doctor and several friends who are doctors have told me that it is okay. Topical treatments are fine as long as you are only using them 2 times a day. I highly recommend it!
