Natural Remedy For Sinus Contamination?
August 17th, 2010After my cough and sore throat I picked up over the holiday season, those tiny nasty bacteria that get into my sinuses causing a sinus disease. Fortunately, a infection of the sinus is pretty simple for me to deal with at this point. Thus, I decided to share some of these resources with whomever would benefit from a more natural approach to healing their nasal sinus infection
My preference to natural approach is higher than something like….
“Head and neck surgeons at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital are utilizing a minimally-invasive means of treating chronic sinusitis and clearing blocked sinus passageways. Jefferson otolaryngologists are performing sinuplasty employing a balloon-tipped catheter, which is threaded over a guidewire and inserted via the nose and in to the sinus cavity. The procedure, known as balloon sinuplasty, is developed, to open up sinus drainage pathways.” – ScienceDaily
Sure there are some cases where a sinus medical proceure might perhaps be required, I like to take the angle of a holistic approach and if they do not work, then I might take into account a medical methodology. The processes listed in this article have been approaches that have been shared with me and have provided good results for me, but that does not mean for you to go out and try them. Remember to consult with your own physician and make an informed decision. This procedure is in no way intended for being taken as advice nor does it make any kind of claims that it will heal you in any way. That getting said, here we go:
Very first, is realizing the concept that if I irrigated my nasal passage which has a saline or colloidal silver solution, this could aid the process. Personally I liked to use Silver Shield from EasyNSP.com and it worked well for me. This is something that I did from the early morning along with the evening, just just before going to bed.
Also, just before going to bed I utilised Eucalyptus Essential Oil (and R.C. essential oil, I got this one from Young Living) in one of two approaches. It all depended on how lazy I got. If I prefabricated the time, then I boiled some water inside a cup and place about 8 drops of apiece of the oils to the cup, and granted them to dissapate their fragrance within the room. If I didn’t remember or didn’t make time to heat up the water, then I simply utilized the oils place 4 drops of each in my hands and rubbed them on my shirt and then massaged the bottoms of my feet with the oil just in advance of going to bed. Both techniques seemed to assist a wonderful deal.
Sinus infection reminders I like to give myself are
1. Yellow, green, or dark phlegm.
2. Swelling and pain within the eyes, nose, or throat.
3. Coughing, sneezing, and sinus drainage.
4. headaches along with the occasional fever
I feel very fortunate to have chosen a more natural approach to my sinus infections, and I trust that my results will somehow support you.
Keep in mind, that all this information is intended to be educational, it isn’t intended to treat or replace your doctor. Please make responsible decisions and enjoy a healthy life.
