I have switched to all natural skin care regimen. I have been using the oil cleansing method with jojoba oil/almond oil and sometimes olive oil, followed by some hot steam. I then use tea tree bar soap. I finish it all with Witch Hazel/Aloe toner and Shea Butter Lotion. I do an olive oil/sugar scrub once a week.
My skin has calmed down significantly, but I still have blemishes around the hairline by my temples and underneath my chin. The acne is just on the surface and they are red spots, they’re not deep or with whiteheads or anything…so that’s a good sign. My forehead, nose and cheeks have cleared up and the pores are clean. But I am still having issues with the other areas. I have been doing this cleaning regime for about a month. I am sometimes tempted to go back to chemical products…but I won’t, because it prefabricated my skin 100 times worse…so I know this is the best way.
Does anyone know of some other effective tricks? And also any tricks for the dark spots/scars left by acne? Thanks!

Wow! It sounds like you are doing a great job with your skin.
I understand you want to go natural, but there are spas which do laser treatments to get rid of brown acne scars and can really help new acne. It is expensive.
You might just want to continue your treatment and see if you are happy in a month.
Detergents found in regular soap are one of the worst causes and it sounds like you are already on your way with some of the natural alternatives. One more to try which is cost effective and very good is using Oats..If you put these in a stocking and tie it up tight it will lather like soap and is good for your skin (doesn dry it out)
Also try avoiding any excess oils to the face are from touching or rubbing or cosmetics.

It will eventually stop as u continue ur regimen.As 4 the scars,shea butter is great 4 that,idk if ur using the real stuff as lotion,or a blend.Otherwise get some pure shea and spot treat those scars.
