Secure purchase and use of glycolic acid at home for acne scars?
February 19th, 2009Question: Is it innocuous to purchase and use at home glycolic acid for acne scars? I called a local dermatology, they told me they charge for treatment of “SkinMedica” which is glycolic acid. I also found some glycolic skin peels on ebay for 30-40 dollars, I’m not sure what to do, any ideas? Greatest answer:

few years ago I noticed this strange “shadow” appears on my upper lip. It looked like a mustache and it was really embarrassing. While I was doing a facial, the esthetist told me it was hyper-pigmentation of the sun. Of course, she tried to talk in achieving these very costly weekly treatments could not afford. When he saw that was not going to sell that, she tried to Talke to purchase a bottle of glycolic acid $ 0! I did some research on the web and found this website: http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/products/30_Glycolic_Kits-270-20.htmlHe purchased a kit of 30% glycolic acid. I used it three times a week and left it for about 4-6 mintues. She got rid of my “mustache.” I have yet to give much more and I’m using now to get rid of acne scars.
