Treat bacterial infections with Antibiotics

November 12th, 2010 by Angela

An infection is the detrimental colonization of a host organism by a foreign parasite species. Infections can be categorised as either viral or bacterial.

Viral infections are systemic which means they involve many different parts of the body or more than one body system at the same time and is normally caused by pathogenic virus. While the symptoms of a bacterial infection are localized redness, heat, swelling and pain. One of the hallmarks of a bacterial infection is local pain, pains that is in a specific part of the body and are caused by pathogenic bacteria.

Bacterial infections are commonly treated with antibiotics. Patients should understand, though, that antibiotics are intended to treat bacterial infections, not viral infections. Bacterial infections require antibiotics to eliminate the bacteria from the body as swift as possible. When therapy is delayed or insufficient, bacteria multiply and dispersed throughout the body, usually resulting in internal abscesses. Bacterial infections of the central nervous system progress quickly. Within a matter of days, the disease can lead to shock and death. Physicians prescribe antibiotics for a certain time frame and amount so they destroy the infection right. If you don’t take all the antibiotics, you run the risk of just weakening the bacteria and having it come back immune to antibiotics.

There are many antibiotics . Depending on the severity and the type of infection, the antibiotic might be given by mouth, injection or might be applied topically. Antibiotics are classified into different classes of drugs such as aminoglycosides, cephalosporins, macrolides, penicillins, quinolones and tetracyclines.

Some of the accessible antibiotics online are amoxicillin, tetracycline and Zithromax:

Amoxil is an antibiotic in the class of drugs called penicillin. It fights bacteria in the body. Amoxil is used to treat many different types of infections, such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, and infections of the skin. Amoxil might also be used for other purposes.

Tetracycline treat or forbid infections that are evidenced or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. The usual day-to-day dose is 1g to 2g. Your physician might increase the dosage in case of severe infections.

Zithromax used for treating many types of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, skin infections, ear infections and sexually transmitted diseases . Zithromax comes as a capsule, pill, and liquid to take it orally. It is usually taken once a day for 2-5 days.
