There are different types of acne. The most common is the Acne Vulgaris and most of the people are affected by this acne. The common symptoms are blackheads, whiteheads, reddish spots. These acne spots are usually painless and shed off after some specific period of time. But new acne spots keep on appearing on the skin. After some months or years the acne is healed provided that it is not converted into the severe type of acne. After this the after marks of acne spots on the skin usually remain for the whole of the life.
Some plants are very useful for the best acne treatment. One of such plant is Aloe Vera. This plant has long leaves and these leaves are used for the treatment. The Aloe Vera leaves have a natural gel-like substance called Aloe Vera Gel. This gel has the natural antiseptic properties and is good to kill the bacteria causing acne. This gel also gives the soothing effect when applied on the acne sores. Due to these properties Aloe Vera plant is very famous among the people who want to cure their acne.
In order to get the Aloe Vera gel, you need to pick a full leaf from the plant. Cut it from the middle. You will see the latex of yellow color in the middle of the leaf. Remove this latex as it is not good for your skin because it is an irritant. Remove the outer thick layer of the leaf with a knife. When the outer layer will be removed you will see the gel of the leaf. Just remove it from the leaf and apply it on your acne spots. You can store this gel in refrigerator for later use too.
