Question: WHAT ARE SOME AT HOME REMEDiES FOR ACNE/PiMPLES/EXC!?
im a male and suffer with acne on my forehead and thats about it i wanted to try something to remove it, i’ve heard of salt water, and soaking my face with it, ive heard jsut regular colgate toothpaste and letting it set while im sleeping, lemon juice… I havent tried any simply because i dont have the money just to go out and get random things like that… i kind of want to know what other things there are, that are affordable and worth trying or if the ones i listed could help as well. Anything that you answer try to give me what it is, why it would work and how much it would cost unless it could be found at the house! THANKS! points awarded! (10) for best answer! (:

I never had serious acne, but I will attest that toothpaste does work pretty well on spots. You don’t have to go out and buy Colgate specifically, just use whatever you’re using to brush your teeth normally and see if that helps.

Also, it’s not a home therapy, but roughly the same price as a tube of toothpaste, tea tree oil’s probably the best astringent. That’s similar to what they’d be wanting lemon juice to do, but I don’t think I’ve ever really heard of lemon juice being effective. You can buy tea tree oil at beauty shops like Sally’s.
