Question: What are some home remedies for acne?
I hate using the products at the store, having to use the regularly treatment.

What are some things around the home I could use to help acne?

I do not have bad acne, but small pimples on my nose chin and forehead.

well i’m not sure about household items. Once I was told you can put tooth paste on them. idk if it works from my own experience cause i use stuff from the store, but my friend said she used some each night and eventually they all vanished. she saw it on some website once.
Hope I was at some help for you.

Tea tree oil is good if you have that laying around other than that… there really isn’t anything that will work for acne.. dabbing a dab of toothpaste on it and sleeping with it may help dry it out (toothPASTE not the gel kind) Or rubbing alcohol may help dry it out also

Here is a little secret, the trick to getting rid of acne from the root is very simple, first thing you should do is take a laxative once a week or take 2 servings of fiber daily, thats the trick, i had bad acne and that cleared my face in 5 weeks. good luck

the first thing is stop eating sugar , drinking soft drink like pepsi and all that are loaded with sugar and if you don’t want to use a daily treatment than cutting out sugar is a must cause sugar is a number one reason people get acne … and depends on your age to if you are between teen and adolence than maybe you need to get a treatment from the drug store but i would say start by cotting out the sugar it helped me

Put toothpaste on your blemishes at night before you go to bed. It will reduce redness and size of the blemishes.

Also lemon juice works the same way.

Or get an avocado and scoop out the inside (the light green part) And mash it up in a bowl until it forms a sort of paste. Put it all over your face and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse it off. It leaves your skin really soft and helps a bit with acne.

You could also use rubbing alcohol. Put some on a cotton ball and rub all over your face.

    Good luck!

Try use salt and warm water. Dip a paper towel or something more absorbant into the warm salt water and place in on the affected area for three ten minute intervals. Also drink lots of water (about 6 cups) per day. Good luck!
