What causes acne on your arms and back?

Question: What causes acne on your arms and back?
I have a pretty clear face, i get an occasional pimple or two once in a while but for the most part it’s acne free. But i have a large problem with acne on the back of my arms and on the top of my back. It’s really disgusting and humiliating when i wear tank tops or short sleeves. What even causes acne to develop on your arms and back? How can i get rid of it?

Possibly clogged pores. Try exfoliating, Neutrogena makes a body wash and exfoliating scrub with acne medication in it. I’d also use a good moisturizer so your skin doesn’t dry out. Hope this helps! Good luck.

the best thing i recommend to get rid of it is to go to a dermatologist and get a prescription for ampicilin (its like $10 a month and keeps you acne-free). if you don’t want to do this, then the next best thing is to start exercising more, preferrably running, and also when you’re in the shower, scrub REALLY hard, you could even use that one trick in which you scrub with sugar, seeing as the grains get into your pores and exfoliate them. :D

and FYI, birth control actually helps clear acne, for whoever said that was the cause:D
