Question: What products are the best to get great hair and skin?
Hello, I have very thick, frizzy, natural dirty-blonde hair that sits just below my shoulders. If I don’t flat iron it each time I get out of the shower it is super thick and frizzy and even slighty wavy when it dries. Ironing it last for a few hours and where I live the humidity also doesn’t help. I use pantene shampoo and conditioner that restores ruined hair, then a leave in conditioner and a heat protectant spray before blow drying and flat ironing.

I also have very acne-prone skin, my skin tone is very pale and I sun-burn easy. Despite trying proactiv for over a year… using a regularly face cleanser and make-up that is supposeably noncomedgenic, I still break out all the time and have white/blackheads and red pimples and blemishes that injured and are very embarassing.

I was looking for a good beauty website/club/forum to join where I could get good advice specific to my different hair and skin problems and advice on what are the best products or how to attain an simple Just got back from the Salon look…

I’m wondering what the best products are for:

Make-Up that is non-comedegnic, oil free and/or containing salicylic acid…
Made for Combination Skin
That gives high calibre results, flawless looking skin, lightweight, etc.

The best Flat Iron that gives great results and innocuous to use each day on thick unruly hair.

The best Facial Skin Cleaning products for combination skin prone to acne.

The best hair dryer that doesn’t ruin your hair too much.

Hair products to achieve that silky beautiful flat hair that will last all day, and possibly even stand up tp humidity.

Using foundation usually will only block ur pores more (unless u get that all natual stuff). Foundation usually acts as a sunblock, each day normal sun gets rid of my acne. Don’t lay in the sun, but let it get some each day sunshine, it helps.

If u must use a flat iron, get porcelain plates. And apply a hair lotion, hair cream oil, hair straightener, or smoothing serum (or a combination of them) so ur hair will be minimally ruined and moisturized. You can also use these products to help ur hair look healthier, even if u select not to straighten it.

Most hair dryers work the same way, stay away from blowing it all over ur head. Aim towards ur hair ends, and brush behind it as u blow towards the ends, it will come out with a much smoother finish.

There is a line of products called “It’s a 10″ they have AMAZING hair products, I mostly use their products and they’ll all good. they have quite a few out, Leave in conditioner, flat iron spray.
I would suggest any flat iron with a temprature control, and as for a blow dryer you can’t go wrong with the classic ceramic conair blow dryer with the defuser.
I can relate to the being very pale and burning easy because i’m the same way. I use the products by acnefree and to keep up with it when i don’t have any skin problems i just go over my face with a spot treatment by them at day and night after doing the daily washes and all. If you have dry skin problems just try putting a TINY amount of cocobutter lotion on an hour or so before applying make up.
for foundation i suggest using both a liquid and powder foundation (if done correctly it will not feel heavy at all)
Apply a small amount of liquid foundation (i use L’Oreal true match) with a make up sponge all over your face then with a big make up brush apply some powder foundation over it (Maybelline new york mineral power powder foundation) and it should give a smooth polished look to your skin, the powder foundation over the liquid allows it to stay longer and also keeps you from getting that “Greasy” liquid fountation look.
You don’t have to buy outragously priced make up to get a good effect with your make up! believe me! it’s a waste of money. it’s all about finding what works best for you!

If you have TRULY pale skin like me if you get those two foundation products you might have to add a tiny bit of nonsented lotion into it and shake it up very well, and a little bit of baby powder to the powder founation. I’m very very pale and i always have to do so. Plus doing the lotion allows it to keep your skin moist and the baby powder keeps the other one especially light!
    I hope i helped!

Everyone’s hair is shiny, silky, & soft, until they start adding chemicals to their hair, and abusing it by straightening it. It also comes from your good genes, and all the healthy foods you eat from Mother Nature, not made by man or John Frieda.

In the olden days, people didn’t have bottled shampoo, as you could see in paintings they all had long hairs. Bottled shampoos was invented in the 60’s, before then people used soap and they have good hair & good skin. The hair and beauty industry is a billion dollar business, they sure make everything tempting for profits, to attract new buyers, thinking they will have the same hair if they bought their products . . . . but they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss due ‘to abuse’.

The fact is, the longer you spend tending your hair, and the more products or tools you’re using, the more they are damaged.

I use the cheapest shampoo OTC money can buy for my hair and for my skin, #1 rule is to stay out of the sun to have that youthful complexion and I use body wash for my face as well as my body.
