Ok, I’ve had terrible acne(and scarring, especially) for nearly 2 years now. I’m speaking all over my face, on my chin, and even a tiny on my back. The scarring is all over my face and is not going away, plus I breakout with a couple zits each 2 weeks or so. I’ve tried basically everything:
Proactiv, AcneFree, Cetaphil, Noxzema, Clearasil, Neutrogena, Epiduo, Diffrin, Stridex, and a few other treatments I can’t remember. I’ve even gone to the dermatologist, but nothing she’s prescribing me is working! I’ve tried home remedies, such as toothpaste and baking soda, which turned out horribly as well.
Please, I’m about to give up…I’m just so exhausted of having these scars and acne…Do any of you know what to do? Have you tried anything that’s not on my list that’s worked well? Please, I’ll do anything, besides Accutane, because that’s just ridiculous and there are too many side effects.
Please, any help would be appreciated. I’m running low on hope of ever getting rid of my acne.

I think that is something to do with your hormones. It requires a physicians help.. try switching physicians if the one you have isn’t giving you the help you need. I have a friend with a major problem like yours and she’s using some special pill to fix it. She tried accutane but it didnt work, so she switched to this other one.
As for scarring, vitamin e helps. You can even just purchase the capsules and poke a hole in it and squeeze out the stuff and rub that on.
Some people have found using tea tree oil works wonders as well. The Body Shop has a skin care line there that you could check out.

Try using Neutrogena, it works great and I would highly recommend it. Ontop of that, I prevent acne by washing my face with soap and water every time it gets oily, dry the water off by gently dabbing your face with a *clean* towel, and shower 2 – 3 times a day, using acne wash preferably, and optionally use any type of acne lotion when going to bed, and waking up. If you don’t/can’t afford acne lotion, tooth paste is a ghetto alternative, lol. Hope this helped.
Use Clean and Clear Advantage. It is under $15 at most drugstores and Walmart.
I use it (I am 44) my sons both swear by it ( 18 and 14) and I have recommended it to everyone I know. Some magazine ran a test and it caused improvement (not always cures, but made it better) in EVERY person in the test.
i’ve had severe acne since 4thy grade, im a junior now and still have acne
now. nothing ive used actually got rid of it but of all the things i’ve used
clean and clear has helped out alot. hot compress (a hot water towel) and wash ur face in the morning and b4 bed, everyday. it should get better. hope this helps.
