What’s the best home remedy for acne..?
October 23rd, 2011Question: What’s the best home cure for acne..?
I’ve had acne all over the right side of my chin and it’s slowly getting worse, nearly reaching the side of my mouth, and it’s getting insanely irritating each day. I exfoliate in the shower each night before bed, but that doesn’t seem to help out my case. I would have to state that i have (Semi-Oily) skin, not too oily or dry, kinda in between, to the point where i ALWAYS seem to end up with acne in the same spots! I’m going crazy because i don’t have money to purchase acne solution, and a home cure is probably my ONLY solution. Can you guys recommend anything for me that you might have had results with in the past?
P.S-
I don’t have honey.
Some people on google have recommended that one.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

using a small bit of toothpaste on a zit will dry it out. just place it on before bed. i’m not sure how it works to be honest, but it always takes the red out.
also for more regular face care, you could use tea tree facial soaps. tea tree is a natural antiseptic so it helps keep things clean.

Well, the only home remedy that I know of is to use toothpaste and put on before you go to bed, but that doesn’t work as well as buying an acne solution. Hope this helps!!!!
NOOOOOO okay let me first off tell you this, there is some really bad advice on here and this is coming from someone who battled acne for like 3 years.
The thing about acne is … it’s a medical condition, it’s not something you get because you are dirty or you’re not cleaning yourself property. Kind of like a rash, it has to do with your skin itself. Also genes take a huge role in this too.
Anyways … the thing about toothpaste is that it has different effects on different people, some people have had zero results from it, it’s worked for some other people and for the unfortunate people (including me) it made it MUCH WORSE. I DO NOT recommend putting anything that is not
I know this wasn’t the answer you are looking for, but you have to take a step back and realize something. No 2 people are built the same, you have to realize that everyone is different. Some products work for some people, while at the same time, that same product can be making someone else’s acne much worse. I’ve tried Neutrogena, Pro Activ, Mary K… etc. YOU NAME IT, I’ve tried it. From scrubs to gels, liquids, vitamins, pads, stickers whatever! I’ve tried it all.
I think I’ve spent over $200 on Acne products trying to get rid of mine!As a guy I’m not even going to lie, when I said I’ve tried everything I meant it. I had a friend use cover up on my face but it was too obvious because my acne was bad and it suddenly disappeared the next day, and not only was it obvious that I used make up to cover it up, it made it worse about a few days later.
I finally decided to call a dermatologist and compared prices and asked around, well I got this liquid called ” Clindamycin Phosphate ” and this bottle of prescription only pills called ” Doxycycline HYC ”
they both worked wonders… I’d suggest you do the same and ask your doctor about them.
Over all… my advice… look up some dermatologists! You will thank yourself you did… I promise you.
hi! ok rite this second. i have toothpaste on my forhead. i have very bad acne, my mom would put like this hydrogen pinoxide and it wont go away and i tryed like clearisil and all this stuff but it wont work, so i put like the tooth paste not the gel and before i do tht i wash my face with this 3 dollar cleanser you get at wal*mart its called equip i think idk im in bed rite now..lol…it may take a couple of days, but it sure clears it up…oh and a couple other ways are dont touch your face cuz the oil on ur fingers will rub off on your face and drink water lots of it so you face can get hydroated and if you go to sephora..its ok they have men sections too,,i think, they gave me this sample acne thing and it is 100% pur friuts and stuff and i tryed it and it WORKED!! omg it will become sticky and thts ok dawg… and also, i read a couple miutes ago that if you use the acne products that you’ll start breaking out but its ok cuz its getting all the oil out,,,and i never knew that so thts a helpful tip…so yea…toothpaste really helps cuz it cleans the germs in your mouth so itll clean the germs on your face…
OMG….hope that helps!
Stop exfoliating! Also have any of you with bad acne heard of nuSkin. Check that out it is actually amazing. As for home remedies, i don’t think there is anything you can do. I think the more you try the more you will irritate your skin and make it worse. I don’t have much acne, but growing up with my sister who had it very bad I truly wish there was a home remedy that could take it all away. Good luck darling.
I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

This natural home treatment works wonders as Feroz says in his testimonial below### He suffered from acne for 12 years and this is the 2 1/2 weeks cure that completely rid him of it..
TREATMENT
Massaging with certain natural oils is the key. Oils such as sweet almond, grape seed and lavender are good and have been used by skin specialists to successfully treat and cure acne. Extra virgin olive oil works well on many skins. Oils do not clog, and surprisingly, lessen skin’s over production of oils. Rid me of acne and healed ALL of my many skin conditions and even removed all my scars and I have had a totally clear, healthy and radiant skin for many years.
It’s best to vigorously massage into skin. In just two days you will start seeing results. Skin will start clearing and will tighten, look and feel smoother and firmer.in the first few days. Massage may force impurities/poisons (from harmful products use) to expel in first few days. So do less vigorously until skin clears.
For detailed massaging technique (it’s long) contact me.
