May 25th, 2011Question: Will my Cystic acne Ever go away?
It started 2 years ago when i was 16. It doesn’t really run in my family, only my aunt suffered from some huge pimples, but not as bad as my cystic acne. I tried everything from minocycline, doxy, tazorac, duac, BP, and now my physician wants me to go on accutane. It did get superior but then came back. I dont want to go on accutane b/c its not natural. I dont want something disturbing my body b/c then my body my begin to depend on it later on. Right now i’m using a product from UIta and its working really good. Do you think when i’m older my hormones will begin to equilibrium and it might get superior b/c its not really in my family. Do you think its just a hormone problem?
Those last 2 yrs of high school were really stressful for me. I’m suffering from depression and my family’s going through tough times do you think that might effect it?

Stress has been known to cause severe acne. Also what you consume can cause acne. It could be your hormones. Wash your face with soap and water each day. Don’t touch your face. If you’re a girl, your body has not adapted yet to menstrual periods, so acne might appear. Hope it goes away!
